In this episode of Beyond the Business Suit I interviewed Lara Dalch, health and lifestyle coach and host of the popular podcast, Women on the Rise. Lara is a former entertainment marketing executive turned entrepreneur who truly understands the challenges of balancing good health with a busy schedule, and is passionate about helping women harness the power of good health to fuel their lives through a realistic, “whole life” approach to health. Lara's Bio

Lara Dalch is a health and lifestyle coach who helps women go from “formerly active” to feeling confident, healthy, and powerful again – so they can wake up with the power to take on their goals.

As a former entertainment marketing executive and busy entrepreneur, Lara understands the challenges of balancing good health with a busy schedule and is passionate about helping women harness the power of good health to fuel their lives through a realistic, “whole life” approach to health. 

Lara is a contributor to popular health and wellness website MindBodyGreen and has been a featured by Refinery 29, Town & Country, Microsoft, Flywheel Sports, the University of Virginia, and the University of California, Berkeley. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia, is a Certified Pilates Instructor and received her training to practice health coaching via the State University of New York and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Lara is also the producer and host of the Women on the Rise podcast.

1. What is one book that has made a significant impact on your life personally or professionally? The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer 
2. What are some of the morning or night time routines you incorporate into your daily life? Her morning routine is what she appreciates most. It consists of having water, lighting a candle, doing a meditation and some exercise. Her morning routine is really important. 
3. If you could have brunch with three people, dead or alive, who would you select? Her friend Mark (because he always orders “brunch dessert” with her), Oprah and Dan Pashman (from The Sporkful podcast
4. What are three of your favorite things (people excluded) that you can't live without? Her yoga mat, SkinCeuitcals retexturing activator and her Blue Bottle coffee subscription.
5. What is your favorite “power outfit” or something you put on to feel most powerful? She has a Diane von Furstenberg dress that she absolutely loves.
