QUOTABLES
“I need to create a plan for me to thrive!”
“I’ve created a career that creates opportunities for itself.”
“When you start to make progress in one area, you start to steamroll progress in others.”
“People forget about being intentional.”
“What is your thing that can make an impact? Make it specific and measurable.”
THE FINAL FIVE:
- What is one quote that you live by or are inspired by? “You must believe in yourself and your vision. When you do this, you manifest the life that you desire.”
- What is one book that has impacted your life? It was a devotional called, “The Prayer of Jabez.” It was about expanding your territory for the year; consistently prayer over expanding my business and my personal life. I read that one at least 6 times last year.
- What is something that you put on to feel most powerful? I purchased this robe from a resort in Mexico that I love! When I put that robe on [at home] it just helps everything. I start my day in that robe.
- This is a scenario: You have a free day to do whatever you want for 24 hours. What would you do? Normally I’d go to the spa. I would get up a little later than usual, no alarm clock, and be able to arise when I was ready. I would take the hottest shower known to man. I would grab breakfast at Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn, which is one of my favorite little spots. And then I would head to a day spa and do a half day special. I’d then take myself out to dinner at Seasons 52, it’s one of the places that has a seasonal, all organic menu. Then, I may end up taking myself to a movie.
- We’re all weird in certain ways. What is something that makes you weird? Years ago when I started public speaking, I was so self-conscious. Someone told me to embrace my quirks. It was the biggest thing that someone had told me because people will like you because of your quirks. I tell really bad jokes. I’ve gotten a little better, but my jokes are fairly bad and I end up sitting on the floor laughing at my own jokes. That probably makes me a little weird. I also notice in videos, I only talk out of one side of my mouth.
