Not only is she a professional home organizer who bases are approach on Marie Kondo's KonMari Method™, but she takes decluttering one step further by coaching and guiding you through all the emotions you may experience while turning your home into your sanctuary.
In this episode, Pia and I explore what it truly means to be comfortable with who you are and live in your truth. She not only shares her top tips for a more organized living space, but she also teaches you how to listen to your intuition while exploring the power of choice.
As we are all looking at ways to end this year strong and make space for new beginnings, clearing out the clutter in your home is one of the best ways to do so!
QUOTABLES:
“My power is in my ability to choose.”
“The only person I have to please is me.”
“Your intuition speaks to you, you just have to learn how to listen.”
“Are you going to adhere to the vision that you set out for yourself?”
“Be comfortable with who you really want to be and let go of who you were in the past.”
THE FINAL FIVE
- What are some of the things that you do to take care of yourself? I have a morning routine that I swear by. When I don’t do it, my day feels different. From affirmations and mantras, to working on my to-do list. I have a whole recipe for my morning and it really sets the tone for my day.
- What are some of the things that you do to recharge your energy? Chatting on the phone with my friends really helps. I have a weekly family Zoom with my Dad’s side of the family in Barbados. Connecting helps me to recharge.
- What is one of your superpowers? Inspiring other people. Sometimes you’re feeling so one with what you're doing and the person on the other end reflects that back to you.
- Who do you stan? Who do you absolutely adore and look up to? Alexandra Elle. She is an author in the self-care space. She’s really focused on self-love and she’s got this incredible story about having a daughter as a teenager. Her words really helped me to look deeper.
- What are 3 of your favorite things, people not included? First all the live DJ-ing since quarantine started. Second, I love new perspectives. I love to learn. I love when the way I see the world is challenged. Third, I love reading, especially about self-evolution. My favorite book is The Conscious Parent by Shefali Tsabary
