ABOUT HARVEY COLEMAN:
Harvey Coleman started his career by being very active in the Civil Rights movement, having been arrested twice in “sit-ins,” was a Mississippi Freedom Rider and has had crosses burned on the lawns of three house in which he has lived. He served three years with the U. S. Army Security Agency where he was named Europe’s Soldier of the Year while serving in Germany during the Berlin crisis. He then spent a total of fifteen years with Xerox and IBM in a variety of sales and Human Resource management positions.
Recognized both nationally and internationally as a public speaker, Mr. Coleman has been a regular guest speaker at Emory University’s executive MBA program, IBM’s International School in Belgium, IBM’s and GE’s Senior Management Schools. He and has been a quest speaker at Wharton’s MBA School of Business, and the MBAs programs of Carnegie Mellon and Georgia Tech.
Mr. Coleman has produced a ten-module video tape and workbook program entitled, “A World of Diversity,” which seeks to capitalize on the opportunities inherent in a diverse workforce. His first book Empowering Yourself…The Organizational Game Revealed is targeted toward the American worker and is receiving widespread critical acclaim across the country. Recently he has published “Rules of the Game for High School/College/Life” aimed at helping young people to understand how our system works. He has also written a Discussion Guide for parents, teachers and youth leaders to lead young adults through topics outlined in the book.
